General Description
Fairly new material coming up around 2018 and 2019 for the first time. The material is primarily Agate with 3D white flower patterns penetrating into the clear Chalcedony. It is fossil coral preserved in a transparent host rock which results in a range of exceptional patterns and features. The chalcedony host matrix ranges from milky clear to a light pink to apricot colour. A tiny amount of the material has intense green colours in the chalcedony most likely due to a bacterial / fungal infection prior to lithification (Similar to what happens in Amber). This is quite similar to Ocean Jasper and will be equally hard to get in the future.Agate with dendritic inclusions. Very rare highly sought after material - particularly in Asia! A dendritic stone has clear inclusions of Manganese Oxide that has crystallized in a multi-branching tree-like pattern. This pattern is often misinterpreted as plant fossil. Dendrites form as water rich in Manganese and Iron flows along tiny cracks between layers and cracks within the Quartz. Very rare and very beautiful.
